Goodison, Michigan

Flagstar Bank is a full-service branch bank. SVB + Reckley worked through an extensive review process with the Historical Preservation Committee, the Township of Goodison and an involved neighborhood association to realize this project. The site is bisected by a body of water and was constrained by wetland protections and large setback requirements. In the end, the building was designed to physically fit into a constrained site, blend in with the neighboring historic cider mill and large scale private residences.

This community cantina is an adaptive reuse of a 100-year old structure. Once a neighborhood market and more recently a beer/wine convenience store.
